Kim Kardashian has quite the dating history, from her controversial tape with Ray Jay to the 72-day marriage with Kris Humphries. So when she was first linked with rapper Kanye West almost a decade ago, people didn’t think their union who stand the test of time.
But the couple proved everyone wrong, and are still going strong six years into their marriage. But how exactly did Kim fall in love with Kanye, and what was it about him that made her want to say ‘I do’? Well, it has a lot to do with his sleeping habits.
You’d think that a man of Kanye’s stature might have attracted Kim with his good looks, his music career, or successful business ventures, but the reality star was drawn to him because of his thermostat preferences.

After dating for many months, Kim and Kanye took a huge step by moving in together. This was when the two got to know each other up close and personal. In a 2018 entrepreneurial event in Los Angeles, Kim brought up her marriage with Kanye and how she found out that he was her soulmate.
In the panel discussion, she revealed that when she found out that they both had similar sleeping habits, she knew that he was the one for her.
The unusual anecdote that she shared from the early days of their relationship revealed the couple’s preference to crank up the heat before bedtime because they both enjoy feeling warm and cozy in their sleep. And here we were thinking that Kim had fallen for Kanye’s unique personality.
